Simple Drill To Train Proper Batting Stance Mechanics
To improve your baseball power swing, engage core muscles of your inner thigh, groin, and glutes in your batting stance. Opposingly, placing weight on your knees, disengaging core muscles. A simple exercise, find a balance ball (Swiss ball), sizing four inches above your knee. Spread out over the ball, and squeeze your knees into the middle of the ball; avoid dropping your knees over your toes; improving batting stance mechanics, and strengthening core muscles.
Squeeze the ball for 3-5 seconds, release, rest and repeat ten times.
